The winter trout season begins Wednesday at Cosmo-Bethel Park.
Based on a press launch from the Metropolis of Columbia, the Missouri Division of Conservation will inventory the lake with 2,400 rainbow trout.
The catch-and-release season runs by way of Jan. 31, and solely synthetic lures and unscented baits can be utilized.
Anglers should have a legitimate Missouri fishing license and trout stamp, in the event that they want to take part.
